Gennady Golovkin Destroys Wade By Vicious 2nd Rd KO Tells Canelo Give Me My Belt
Unified middleweight titleholder Gennady Golovkin was the overwhelming favorite against virtual unknown mandatory challenger Dominic Wade, and Golovkin nullified any chance of an upset, overpowering his opponent in an absolutely devastating performance.
Golovkin, 34, knocked down Wade three times in a crushing, second-round knockout victory before a raucous, pro-GGG, sellout crowd of 16,353 on Saturday night at The Forum. And then GGG called once again for the fight the world wants to see: a showdown with middleweight world champion Canelo Alvarez.
"I feel great. I'm here now, and I'm here to stay. I'm not going anywhere. Give me my belt, give me my belt! Let's fight," said Golovkin, directing his comments toward Alvarez.

Liberty of Conscience Threatened
The defenders of the papacy declare that the church has been maligned, and the Protestant world are inclined to accept the statement. Many urge that it is unjust to judge the church of today by the abominations and absurdities that marked her reign during the centuries of ignorance and darkness. They excuse her horrible cruelty as the result of the barbarism of the times and plead that the influence of modern civilization has changed her sentiments.Have these persons forgotten the claim of infallibility put forth for eight hundred years by this haughty power? So far from being relinquished, this claim was affirmed in the nineteenth century with greater positiveness than ever before. As Rome asserts that the "church never erred; nor will it, according to the Scriptures, ever err" (John L. von Mosheim, Institutes of Ecclesiastical History, book 3, century II, part 2, chapter 2, section 9, note 17), how can she renounce the principles which governed her course in past ages?The papal church will never relinquish her claim to infallibility. All that she has done in her persecution of those who reject her dogmas she holds to be right; and would she not repeat the same acts, should the opportunity be presented? Let the restraints now imposed by secular governments be removed and Rome be reinstated in her former power, and there would speedily be a revival of her tyranny and persecution.A well-known writer speaks thus of the attitude of the papal hierarchy as regards freedom of conscience, and of the perils which especially threaten the United States from the success of her policy

I just ad lib about what it's like to be me, being aware, intelligent, thoughtful....and to see how our lives have been hijacked by powers beyond our comprehension. I touch on all kinds of topics that should interest anyone, whether you agree with me or not. I am completely non-politically aligned and may well offend some of you. But free speech is something a free country should revere as critically important to freedom, yet all around us we're being targeted for being open in discussion. Connie says, "I was in and out of the system as a child, a runaway multiple times beginning at age 5, lived in 13 foster homes and two shelters, abused and neglected by my mother and abandoned by my father at age 2. Arrested for shop lifting and trying drugs at age 11, breaking into homes to find food and finding a place where I fit in was my life and the hopes of it getting any better seemed grim…until I met Jesus for the first time at age 12. It wasn’t until at the age of 15, when moving to Alabama, that I began my new journey of a new life with Christ. Jesus blessed me with my first Christian family to move in with and it was then that I truly started on my path to healing, new beginnings full of hope and purpose. At age 23 I was called to work and live at a long term shelter for battered woman and abused children. After being at the shelter for 5 years, God moved upon my heart to adopt a 3yr old little boy as a single mother. I started on a new journey as a single mom for the next 17yrs. This little boy I’m speaking of is now 20 today and has recently moved out on his own as an adult. God has indeed blessed my life so. I’ve been privileged and honored to have worked at the WellHouse as a house mentor to woman rescued from human trafficking, to speaking once a week to teenager girls in juvenile detention centers to even back at the same domestic violence shelter 15yrs later part-time assisting with their children. My life started out wrecked, broken and I was a statistic, but God had a plan and knew me when I was in my mother’s womb. Praise Jesus for salvation, new beginnings and a life full of hope and purpose."

This week celebrating "Earth Day" is a good time to honor some of the people who have worked to improve our environment - and have been influenced by Swedenborg in doing so.
Dr. Devin Zuber, Associate Professor at the Center for Swedenborgian Studies, an affiliate of the Graduate Theological Union (GTU) at Berkeley, California, wrote in the April 2013 Messenger that he started his doctoral dissertation with the question:
"How was it that several of the writers who were seen as foundational for American environmentalism - such as Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, and John Muir - were also readers to one degree of another of Swedenborg?" He then said: "I was particularly intrigued by what seemed to be echoes and traces between their absorption of Swedenborg's theology of correspondence and their various projects to spiritualize natural experience outdoors: to turn the mountains into 'sermons written in stone,' in John Muir's memorable phrasing, and locate spiritual truths in an aesthetic encounter with wilderness, almost as if nature were a divinely written text that had to be described and decoded."

Born as Prince Rogers Nelson on June 7, 1958, Prince was a force to be reckoned with. Even at 5'2" tall, Prince dominated the music industry for multiple decades as an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and actor. Some of his most notable songs include Purple Rain, Little Red Corvette, 1999 and When Doves Cry just to name a few. During the span of his artistic career, Prince released nearly 40 studio albums plus a score of other singles and compilations.
Just before his passing he had won a long battle with Warner Bros for the rights to his entire catalog. Music freedom, artistic freedom had always been a part of Prince and fighting for that freedom was as much a part of his signature as his flamboyant and sexy style. Ben Sisario of The New York Times stated, "Prince was a trailblazing and sometimes controversial champion for his rights as an artist."
Prince's music style has touched the lives of many over the entire world for decades. Since his passing on 4/21/2016 Prince has sold 1 million songs and 231,000 albums with the Purple Rain album pulling in the biggest sales at 55,300 albums.
