Last week, we looked at "Time, Times, and Times of Times" (Past) and how we may have filled such with beliefs, attitudes, thoughts, feelings, and actions that led us to ... well ...here! We are at the point of seeing that our next step is to determine "How Should We Then Live?" from now on. For people of faith, "LIving In His Presence" is more than a dream or a goal; it is a promise with a command given first to Moses from God Himself some thirteen-hundred years before our Lord spoke to His disciples and, therefore, to us and, therefore, to all His disciplies that same promise, "And surely I will be with you always...." (Matthew 28.20)
We now tackle some ideas on just how to do that. We decide to fill our "Time, Times, and Times of Times" in the present in order to yield a totally different future. We look at what it means to "Live In His Presence". Contrary to the idea of "sound-bites" the purpose of which might be rather short-lived, we will take the "Time, Times, and Times of Times" that are necessary to allow us to experience an increasing Trust in God's promises and His commands ... all this by answer our own question of "How Should I Then Live?"

Ain't Nothing But A "G" Thang (Pt. 3)
In our first sermon, we talked about how people and situations can get us down. Trying to do the right thing can be hard. We want to do our own thing, go our own way, but that's not what God wants. He knows all that we go through. In 1 Peter chapter 4, verses 12-14 and 16, we looked at how things can come against us, to try us, to think of it as how Christ suffered, we should suffer. We should rejoice because this shows how God, the Almighty, can trust His children in trials. The question was raised; what do we do when we are in a crisis?
We Plan.
We Prepare.
We Pray.
In the second sermon of persecution, "Check Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself", we went to James 1: 2-8. We discovered how God allows us to be respectful to His word and not go our own way. We talked about in James 1: 4, to Be Simple. In vs. 5-6, James teaches us to Be Smart. In. vs. 8, we have to Be Stable. A lot of times, we allow the enemy get the best of us. As children of the Most High, I just believe that all things work out for our good. We may not like what we're going through, but we will let patience have her perfect work.
In Luke 15: 11-22, we will talk about how God works in our lives.
Point one: "Who does God work in?"
Point two: "Why does God work in us?"

My history of involvement in the medical cannabis movement. I had a history of medical cannabis before I joined the movement. While in prison, I saw the inequalities of the drug war and I want to expose the problem, as well as work to reform the criminal justice system. I was also forced to attend AA/NA/12 step programs and I feel new paradigms concerning drug treatment need to be put into place. The history of how we got to this place with respect to cannabis and all other drugs is also very interesting to me. I'm scheduling MMRSA seminars around the state and I will be presenting one at the High Times Cannabis Cup in San Bernardino on April 15 so I would like to discuss this new law.
I'm hoping this will use up the time available. I could talk about these, and many more subjects, for days.

Christian conduct PART 3: Breaking worldly ties; no more compromising!
Good afternoon! God bless you all and welcome back to Stand Up for Christ. Today we will continue our teaching on Christian conduct. It is so very important to not only look the part but be the part too. If we profess to love the Lord and say that we are Christians, we need to be bearing Christ-like fruit. In today's teaching we will continue reading from Hebrews 13 which tells us how we as believers need to conduct ourselves. This particular passage gives warnings as well to the Body of Christ. Lets continue discussing this new age doctrine that has entered into the Christian faith. We come against all evil manner in the name of Jesus!

Life is a bowlful of cheeries. Merrily we roll. We are sailing along. On the straight and narrow. All of these sayings indicate that life is perfect and we are on a path that is easy. However, there are times when we flow down that stream, we run into jagged edges, step on pebbles or even rocks, find the pits in life. It is not all smooth sailing. What we do with the challenges will determine what happens in the next step of our path. We can continue to walk on the path that will cause injury, we can avoid the edges, or we can find ways to smooth out the edges. It is up to you.
