Pastor Jim Nuzum-What John The Baptist Said About Jesus

John 3:30 (KJV) 30 He must increase, but I must decrease.   Jas 1:17 — Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Jn 8:23 — And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world John 3:36 (KJV) 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

The Post-Modern Church Wants Jesus the Healer Over Jesus the Savior

The western church is in trouble.  It has lost the Courage to Be.  It stumbles in the darkness of the world because it has sacrificed Jesus the Savior for Jesus the Healer.  Most certainly, God heals our lives as we grow up in faith and trust, but most importantly he saves us from eternal ruin.  Christologies of the west have become empty because real theological work has been set aside , and the church is now turored by uninformed children who do not love the Savior. We are in grave times.  No pun intended.

The Man Christ Jesus: Tempted, But Without Sin

When we observe Jesus closely in Scripture it is easy to see how he overcame evil with good; and how we can be like Him by using the very resources He used, faith in God. He was tempted in every way, knows our weaknesses, and has given us power to conquer as He strengthens us! CONCEPTS FOR HOLY LIVING "a plain word for practical life application" use this teaching for individual, group or church study  1.    SCHOOL OF PROPHETS class starts APRIL 16, 2016. We teach the Holy Bible from a prophetic perspective to those called to speak on God's behalf. Register today!  God has given us bible-based concepts showing us how to live each day, and especially in difficult times. When you receive the revelation of God’s will, it will strengthen you in your daily walk with Jesus. We will prove to you through Scripture precepts and example that Father is faithful. Get your bible, pen and paper and get ready to hear what the LORD is saying. Our message is delivered by the prophet Mary E. Washington, Pastor of Feed My Sheep World Evangelism located in Irving, Texas. Please support our World Evangelism Internet Ministry by giving your gift to help us in spreading the Good News.  Thank you in advance and may God bless you in a most special way.

Hiding Behind The Fig Leaves with Todd Tomasella and Travis Bryan III

The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (TKGE) could also be called the following: THE TREE OF LAW.   Paul indicated in 2 Cor 11:2b-3 that to go back to living under the mosaic law is like Adam and Eve being tricked into eating from the TKGE.  This tree makes you a performance-based thinker and causes its eaters to view God and others legalistically.  We begin to believe that this is the way God treats us and we should treat others.  It leads to eye for eye and tit for tat legal relationships.  One cannot love or forgive unconditionally.  One cannot understand grace or undeserved favor.  One can't believe that God is kind to both the evil and the good.  Lk 6:35. THE TREE OF JEWISH RELIGION.  Jesus found no fruit on the fig tree, cursed it and caused it to wither away in Matt 21:17-22.  The fig tree here represents the Jewish law and religion.  Religion/law can never nourish, heal or give us life.  Religion is always a system of gaining reward or avoiding punishment based on our own performance.  But these are both selfish motives.  The problem with religion is that it can never transform the inner self.  People who eat from the Tree of Religion are always legalistic, judgmental and self-righteous.  For an example of this look at the first few verses of John 9 where Jesus' disciples saw the blind man and immediately attributed his blindness to his own sin or that of his parents.  See Ex 20:5.  Christianity is based on Christ's performance, not ours.

The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Glen Weldon NPR pop culture correspondent on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. .NPR pop culture correspondent Glen Weldon  The Caped Crusade: Batman and the Rise of Nerd Culture   Glen Weldon's work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The New Republic, Slate, The Atlantic, The Village Voice, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and many other places. He is a panelist on NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour and reviews books and comic books for NPR.org. The author of Superman: The Unauthorized Biography and The Caped Crusade: Batman and the Rise of Nerd Culture, he lives in Washington, DC. What do we need to know about Ben Affleck’s Batman (“Batfleck”) soon to hit screens nationwide?

Growing up in my day, getting spanked was a way of life. Now, in today's times you could go to jail for doing such. Is there a need for physical discipline? Is revoking privileges or the taking of personal items effective?

Prayer Changes Things With Evang. Jannie Branch: Between A Rock And A Hard Place

WEDNESDAY ON THE SPIRIT ALIVE NETWORK Prayer Changes Things With Evangelist Jannie Branch Between A Rock And A Hard Place Matthew 28:8-10 Join Her: Wednesday @ 7:00 PM (PST) - 9:00 PM (CST) - 10:00 PM (EST) Call: 424-675-8300 One of the most wonderful mysteries in the universe is that prayer changes things. God has so arranged his world that we have the ability to make significant choices, some good and some bad, which affect the course of history. One means God has given us to do this is prayer—asking him to act. Because he is all-wise and all-powerful, knowing “the end from the beginning” (Isa. 46:10), he's able to weave our requests into his eternally good purposes. God has the power and wisdom to use our prayers as he sees fit and to do what we could never imagine. If he weren't all-powerful, there'd be little point in praying. If he weren't all wise, it'd be dangerous to pray; after all, who'd want to ask an all-powerful but foolish person to do anything? But God is both perfectly wise and infinitely powerful, which is why you and I can pray with confidence. Join Evangelist Jannie Branch as she shares Biblical teachings that will help you to effectively pray with power and conviction that will transform every area of your life.

Darrell Gardner's Horsemanship Show

Darrell Gardner's Horsemanship was founded upon four principles:  Showing Your Horse Love  By expressing love to your horse it helps to build a good relationship and strong bond. This will lead to a better response from your horse.  Gaining Respect  If you don't have respect on the ground, you won't have it on the saddle. Respect is an essential part of horsemanship and it begins with good ground manners  Teaching Obedience  Obedience comes with consistent training. This teaches your horse what you expect and how to quickly respond to the cues given.  Loyalty between the horse and trainer  It all begins with gaining trust. Your initial approach is extremely important. It takes patience and time to get your horse to gain faith in you.

Being Religious Doesn't Make You A Saint

This is a very controversial yet important discussion we're having tonight. For those of you who are very religious, you may possibly be offended so if you're someone who's sensitive to your religion and debates on these topics, you may want to skip this show because tonight we're discussing the religious folk who think they're better than others and look down on people who aren't a part of their congregation, their religion, or doing the things they're doing, living how they're living or doing the things they're doing. This HAS to be discussed because it has a significant impact on others especially non-religious people. This is one of our boldest topics yet, but as always, you know we're going to give it to you straight. So are you or is someone you know an extremely religious person who feels it's a lifelong duty to recruit as many followers as you can and the ones who don't commit are doomed to an eternity of fire and brimstone? If your answer was yes, then you are definitely one of the primary focuses on tonight's show so if you aren't an overly sensitive religious person, you should tune in because we're here to give the perspective from the non-religious. There's so much to discuss there just aren't enough characters to put in the description so just make sure you tune in because it's going down like never before on "It's Real Talk Radio" tonight! We Still Booze #10: Sweet 16 and Still Dancing

So it's been a while since the guys got together and did a regular podcast. This time it's just RevDizz and CyHusker to soothe your ears with some smooth conversation about the ISU season thus far. We skip the traditional in-depth analysis that we're so well known for and decide to leave that to those smarter than us. Instead RevDizz challenges CyHusker with a series of questions that relate to the Cyclones 2015-16 season, and yes, even touch a little on the Virginia game. Where else can you go for hard hitting answers to questions like "Are you pro or anti One Shining Moment?" and "What's a good sitcom comparison for the pace and style of the Virginia-Iowa State matchup?". All of this and more on this edition of the Wide Right Natty Light We Still Booze Podcast. I don't care that you're probably listening to this during working hours, and I'm almost 20% sure your boss doesn't care either. So grab a daytime beverage, kick back and relax because the Sweet 16 is here and Iowa State is still dancing!
