Youth Sports & Safety Advocate and so Much More on Recovery Now with Kim Justus
Kimberly Archie lead the safety crusade in youth sports and the push for cheer to be classified as a sport with science based research that set off a media blitz of injury stories in 2008 from People magazine to the Washington Post. Her tireless efforts and "never take no for an answer" resolve resulted in a Government Accountability Office investigation called by Congressional leaders into the youth sport safety crisis in America. She is an official research partner with the National Center for Catastrophic Sports Injury Research at the University of North Carolina, was a safety official for the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association, has testified numerous times at all levels of government on safety issues, organized numerous national safety events, pushed for stronger sport safety legislation on the national and state level, is a highly sought public speaker and independent source of sport safety information for news media, local government and sport parents. Her personal motivation is driven by the death of her son to CTE, and her daughters injury in Cheer.
This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me."

One of the most wonderful mysteries in the universe is that prayer changes things. God has so arranged his world that we have the ability to make significant choices, some good and some bad, which affect the course of history. One means God has given us to do this is prayer—asking him to act. Because he is all-wise and all-powerful, knowing “the end from the beginning” (Isa. 46:10), he's able to weave our requests into his eternally good purposes.
God has the power and wisdom to use our prayers as he sees fit and to do what we could never imagine. If he weren't all-powerful, there'd be little point in praying. If he weren't all wise, it'd be dangerous to pray; after all, who'd want to ask an all-powerful but foolish person to do anything? But God is both perfectly wise and infinitely powerful, which is why you and I can pray with confidence.

This is a re-broasdcast of a 2013 show
Jerry wanted to be in broadcasting. He started hanging out at KBIX and KMUS, the two local radio stations in his home town of Muskogee, Oklahoma when he was in Junior High School. Finally after a couple of years, they got tired of him being a groupie, and gave him a job as one of the youngest announcers in the history of radio station KBIX. Radio was good to him, and he continued working full time and attended Northeastern State University in nearby Tahlequah, Oklahoma. In 1961, he joined the US Army where he was stationed in the San Francisco Bay area.

I break every curse that has been spoken over my mind, body and family. I render them harmless and ineffective. I bless the ones who have tried to hurt me with these curses. I bind the spirits that are working through them. I cancel the demonic operation that has been set against me. Expose the wickedness and humble the people that are working with the devil to have soft hearts of repentance. Save their souls.
In the name of Jesus I cancel the chants, spells and written curses that have been placed to destroy me. Let the wickedness be overcome by your great power, now, Lord. Let your arm lift me out of this pit, and let your anger fall and destroy the strongholds of the enemy as I stand firm in the palm of your hand.
Purge my lips and tongue to speak only holy things so I will give no place to the enemy. Baptize me in the Holy Spirit with fire and let the fire of God be seen in the spirit to purge all wickedness that comes into my presence. Evil cannot affect me, but the Holy Spirit who is burning within me will uproot and destroy all wicked plans and operations that try to stop the move of God within me.
Lord, release your fire. I walk in your obedience and you promised to protect and defend the innocent ones with pure hearts and good intentions.
